Privacy Notice
What PlanGlade collects, why we use it, which providers help us operate, and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated: September 19, 2026
1. Scope and contact
This notice applies to the hosted PlanGlade Service. PlanGlade acts as the controller or business responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or rights requests, email support@planglade.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, profile image, and authentication-provider details.
- Workspace content: tasks, projects, notes, dates, preferences, attachments, and other information you choose to store.
- Billing information: plan, customer and subscription identifiers, transaction status, and entitlement information received from Paddle. PlanGlade does not receive or store your full payment-card number.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, security events, request logs, and diagnostic data generated when you use the Service.
- Support information: messages, attachments, and contact details you provide when requesting help.
3. How and why we use information
We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide and synchronize workspaces, process purchases and entitlements, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, comply with law, and improve reliability and usability.
Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate PlanGlade, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, database, and file storage; Google or GitHub if you choose their sign-in option; and Paddle for checkout, tax, billing, fraud prevention, buyer support, and refunds.
If you connect PlanGlade to ChatGPT, OpenAI receives the project and task details returned for your requests. ChatGPT can create tasks within the permissions you approve. You can remove the connection in PlanGlade Settings to stop future access. Information already shared with ChatGPT remains subject to your ChatGPT settings and OpenAI's privacy notice.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a business reorganization, or with your direction. We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. Storage, cookies, and international transfers
PlanGlade and its providers use essential browser storage, cookies, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, checkout, and service operation. Provider pages may set their own cookies under their notices.
With your permission, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to measure visits, approximate location, device and referral information, feature use, and purchase and refund amounts. Analytics uses cookies, local browser storage, and a pseudonymous account identifier to connect visits and measure returning use. We do not send task or project names, note contents, messages, email addresses, file names, or private URL parameters to either analytics provider. Advertising personalization and session recordings are not enabled.
You can decline analytics without losing access to PlanGlade, or withdraw permission for future collection here. Previous analytics data may remain until its retention period expires; contact us for a deletion request.
Information may be processed outside your country. When required, PlanGlade and its providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards.
6. Retention and security
We keep information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, and maintain security. Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups or logs before routine deletion.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and provider security controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can review and update certain account information, export your workspace from Settings, clear workspace content, cancel subscriptions, or ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or provide a copy of personal information where applicable.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to object, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
8. Children and changes
The hosted Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
We may update this notice as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
